dishoom loves

Issue XXV, February

Embrace the art of gifting, crafting and self-expression this February, a month that affords gentle affections and bold declarations alike.

We’re embellishing our look with:—

Surmeyi jewellery, founded by Manasvi in 2023 in her pursuit of belonging as an Indian living in the US. Her charming collections evoke this sentiment, arrayed with charms, hoops, studs, stems and skin jewels, to name a few. Manasavi’s heartfelt journey shines through in every piece – the perfect gift, to one’s self or another.

We’re spending a cosy night in watching:—

Girls Will Be Girls (2024), a beautiful coming-of-age drama about a young female awakening to romantic desire. Set in a strict Himalayan boarding school, Mira, 16, embarks on a rebellious journey entangled with her mother’s unfulfilled youth. Shuchi Talati’s acclaimed debut is tender, sensitive and quietly heartbreaking.
